RV owners have filed a class action suit against Dometic Corp. alleging a design defect rendering them a serious fire hazard risk. The Legal NewsLine reports that Dometic released a line of gas absorption fridges that were prone to premature corrosion, stress fatigue and cracks, causing noxious and flammable chemicals and gases inside the sealed boiler tubes to leak. Consumers further allege that Dometic knew of the refrigerator fire risk, but did not disclose that information to the public.
